I was approached by a Loughborough based jeweller and metalsmith and asked to design a logo for her business. I took this project and expanded it to designs a whole visual identity for the client. Sophie Currie is a graduate of Loughborough University and, now living in the town, works as a jeweller and metalsmith producing bespoke jewellery and vessels using fractal patterns found in nature and geometry. Sophie wanted something modern, clean and sophisticated for the visual identity, whilst portraying the unique, individual qualities of her products. We opted for a classic type logo in a bold pattern taken from one of the client's products. This provided a bold, elegant colour palette. As well as a logo design, I also created a business card designs and a product packaging design.
